For Meta-Tec nv in Beernem we are currently looking for a CNC-machinist or CNC-setter for CNC Lathes.
With your technical knowledge and craftsmanship you ensure that the machines are correctly set up for production. You will join a company where family values and human respect are of paramount importance.
Your job:
- You ensure the correct machine setup based on work instructions.
- In our modern machine park you get to work on 3-axis lathes with driven tools, double-spindle machines, 5-axis machines, robots and cobots,
- We discus about potential optimizations and adjustments.
- You guarantee the quality of precision products based on registered measurements.
- You load and unload the machines.
- In case of deviations, you make the necessary corrections yourself or report them.

Your education/experience & qualities:
- You are fascinated by CNC turning and are eager to master this beautiful craft.
- You preferably have relevant work experience with CNC-controlled lathes: operating, programming or setup, preferably with Mazak and Fanuc controls
- You can work independently and dare to take responsibility
- You are motivated and get satisfaction from delivering perfectly finished products.
- You work organized, orderly and neat.
- You feel energized by working in a team and are eager to share your knowledge and experience.
- You are willing to work in a 2-shift system (fixed night shift can also be discussed if you wish).
